We have an immediate need for a full time assembly technician at our Duluth, Georgia location. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Receive and check in freight orders (forklift driving experience necessary)
  • Assemble Commercial Mowers, 2-Cycle Equipment, Various Lawn Care Equipment
  • Must be able to lift 100lbs

Cashier

We are looking for individuals with energy and a friendly personality. Must be willing to work a flexible work-shift including afternoons and Saturdays. This job will initially be a part time (25-30hrs) but could lead to a full time position. We close nightly at 6:00pm and are closed on Sundays. Other duties and responsibilities:

  • Ability to combine excellent customer service, strong sales skills
  • Accurate and fast transaction completion
  • Is responsible for the accuracy of assigned cash drawer
  • Flexibility within the store work environment.  Our store team is cross trained to perform all tasks in the store including such activities as cashiering, product placement, receiving of merchandise, processing shipments and/or store stocking, store cleanliness, sales, and operating equipment
  • Work with management team to achieve established sales and productivity goals

Power Equipment Salesman

Howard Brothers is the largest STIHL dealer in the world. Hardware Associate

The Store Associate is instrumental in the operations of our store and plays a key role in providing quality customer service. Our Associates have the ability to engage the customer, determine their needs and project requirements. The job will involve:

Service Writer

The Service Writers are the first impression of a service customer at HBI Outdoor Power. The primary responsibility of the Service Writer is to be the Communication link between the customer and HBI technician concerning their repair of a piece of equipment. The service writer is to listen to customer’s problem, ask probing questions, and correctly receive in the shop job. Gaining proper information at this point is the key to a quality repair. The Service Writer is responsible for all correspondence with the customer concerning jobs ready, jobs with estimate, and other details concerning the shop job.

The Service Writer is to be truthful and a person of integrity. Must be very polite, courteous, and thick skinned. The Service Writers at HBI are responsible to obtain all training offered by manufacturer and HBI on training programs. Service Writer is responsible for making onsite diagnosis and scheduling repairs with technicians. Responsible for tracking jobs at various stages of completion. Service Writer is responsible for managing the inventory of jobs waiting start, jobs awaiting parts, and jobs completed. The total shop job inventory is also to be kept in a clean neat and orderly fashion.

Small Engine Technician

Small Engine Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of outdoor power equipment. The Small Engine Technician works closely with Service manager and Service Writer.

He/she must assess each service job and determine the best course of action in order to repair equipment. Must be able to execute service repairs of equipment in a efficient and cost effective manner. Must be sure equipment repairs meet and or exceed OSHA standards for safe operation.

Execute repairs on a vast range and types of equipment i.e. 2-cycle, 4-cycle, diesel, electrical, generators, pumps, heaters.

Industry Experience a plus.
