Yesterday was just another day. A day that we delivered 62 pieces of STIHL 2 cycle string trimmers and edgers to the city of Atlanta.
62 pieces of STIHL 2 cycle Equipment headed to the City of Atlanta
The City of Atlanta placed an order for 50 STIHL FS90R Straight Shaft String Trimmers. These powerful string trimmers also provide a low exhaust emission which is definitely needed both in and outside the perimeter of metro Atlanta. The FS90R is a light weight yet professional grade string trimmer. It is easy to use. Easy to maintain. Reliable.
They also ordered a dozen STIHL FC90 Edgers. These curved shaft edgers are extremely popular with our commercial landscape customers. They provide a professional landscaped look to sideways, walkways and driveways.
So I guess you can say that The City of Atlanta lawn maintenance crews are powered by STIHL and Howard Brothers.
That’s almost a 1/2 ton of STIHL equipment that was assembled, tested, and delivered by our team… And you can bet when they need STIHL parts or service, they will use our STIHL factory trained and certified technicians.
Long respected, the folks at Consumer Reports have chimed in this morning on the ongoing debate about ethanol that is in current gasoline blends and specifically how the ethanol can make small engines fail.
We mentioned a while back that we’re an authorized dealer for Kesmac Turf Products. Ever since we mentioned it, we’ve been receiving a bunch of requests for parts and have fielded a few demo requests and sales quotes. I just wanted to mention that we actually have these KTR30 sitting on the floor at our Duluth and Alpharetta stores. (more…)
This past weekend, March 22 and 23, we had our grand opening at our new store in Alpharetta Georgia. We had a great weekend with various vendors represented, free food and Mal McEwen a chainsaw artist.
We gave away an Echo Pro Attachment PAS-225VP Combo Kit. This includes a power head, a trimmer and an edger.
Chuck Oliver from Atlanta Sports Talk Radio, 680 The Fan, was on hand to draw the winner. Here’s the video. Drum Roll please.
