Our Smoke and Tell at Oakwood on June 10th was so successful, we decided we needed to repeat it on July 1st at our Duluth Store. But we’re going to turn up the heat and add a little more smoke to our menu! vYou’ve seen and heard all about Traeger Grills. Now it’s time to get some food in your belly and get some of those questions answered. You’ll get a full understanding of the versatility and ease that Traeger’s offer.
Traeger representatives will be on hand and you can ask any question about how they work and what we did to prepare the food.

Starting out EARLY, we’re going to serve up a dish of blueberry french toast breakfast casserole. It melds delicious crusty bread, flavorful smoke, & juicy blueberries to create the perfect sweet breakfast. You won’t want to miss it!
9am: For those who would rather have meat off the Traeger for breakfast, we’ll be serving up Pork Tenderloin Biscuits. It’s one of the easiest meals you can throw on your Traeger… and you’ll discover that pork tenderloin can become a breakfast, lunch and dinner go to at your house!
We recently discovered this little recipe off of Traeger’s website. It’s so simple and very tasty! We’ll start serving up Barbecue Chicken Quesadillas at 10am. The neat thing about it, is we can prep the quesadillas and throw them on as needed. If you like to prep your meals out, you can do the same thing. These prep quickly and get eaten even quicker!
11am: You’ve probably not heard of the tri-tip cut of meat…The tr-tip cut used to be available more on the west coast, but it’s becoming more popular here in the south… especially with the increase in popularity of the Traeger. This recipe involves coffee! If you’ve never thought of or can’t even imagine using coffee for your meat rub…you’ll question the prep, but you WILL NOT question the results.
Throughout mid morning and lunch time we’re serving up a recipe that our own hardware manager, Jason Clark has perfected and promises us is AMAZING. He’s got a Crab Stuffed Mushroom recipe that is going to be revealed. it’s smoked, and flavored by Traeger original wood pellet fuel and you’ll never look at mushrooms the same again.
Need more meat? Yeah we thought so… We’re going to also go all out and have pulled pork sliders off the grill. This ain’t a 30 minute cook. Not a 1 hour cook… we’re going to be cooking these LONG before you show up at the store for them. They’ll be cooking all evening in prep for your tastebuds!
1pm: Dessert? On the Traeger? You bet! We’ve been waiting for the right day to serve up the Peach Cobbler Cupcakes! If you’ve ever had peach cobbler off a dutch oven, you HAVE to try these cupcakes!
